The EU policy concerning the protection of the environment and natural resources has steadily grown in importance since 1980. Using strengthened policies and legislation, the water management in Europe is to be improved. New targets and aims such as the improvement of the quality of the aquatic ecosystems and the quality/quantity of water levels are to be maintained and improved. These targets are to be met by the year 2010.
LCM's involvement is to supply professional and trades personnel to Companies that carry out the specialized work for the Water industry. These contracts are situated in many different regions across the UK.
